Dog Park Reviews

PKP Bark Park is a great dog park. It has a separate area for large and small dogs. Its shaded and has a surface covered with wood chips and dirt. I think that’s better than sand and gravel (kitty litter). Its cared for and maintained by volunteers. There are large water containers and a hose, bags for waste, and trash cans. There are benches for humans and plenty of parking. Many of the visiting dogs are not well socialized, but generally play well together. Unfortunately, not all dog owners understand when its time to remove their dog(s) from the park or put small dogs in the separate small dog area. Although owners at this park generally accept rough and tumble play, park etiquette dictates no obsessive mounting.
