A great place to take “Rover” or in my case Osito Bear, and sisters Emma and Adela (three chihuahua mixes), ages 9 (Osito), and 10 months for the sisters! The girls are learning their social skills and Emma gets right in there with all the dogs, while sister Adela and Osito Bear are a bit more shy. There are numerous strategically set “benches” of tree trunks to sit on, a couple of nice picnic type tables, and people and doggie drinking fountain (lower one for the kids) and plenty of “poopie bags” and trash receptacles to keep the park clean. Have met many friendly folks here and, of course, we often talk about our “loved ones” … bragging on them … asking about training methods … learning about best kinds of treats and dog kibble … where to find a good vet … etc. Meanwhile our pets are running around having fun playing or chasing a far tossed tennis ball or frisbee! Again, Nate’s Point is a great place to point your car with dog(s) along so they can get their daily dose of much needed exercise and socializing in!

One of the best dog parks in San Diego. It’s one of the few that is HUGE and completely enclosed, so if you don’t completely trust your dog off leash you can be assured they won’t get out. It’s so big the dog will barely even notice that’s it’s enclosed.
