this place is nice, some of the dog owners there don’t watch their dog as well as i would like to see but everyone i have met there has been really nice. it has an great spot to sit down and read at the benches under a roof so even in the rain.

This is a very small dog park for the number of dogs that were there. There is only one section so large and small dogs are together. My small dog was attacked twice by a large overly aggressive dog whose owner had no control over her dog. We will not be going back and do not recommend this dog park.

I have 2 pit bulls who love the park and I have only encountered one person who wasn’t able to control his dog. Other than that, it is a fabulous plce and all the dog owners I encounter are equally conscientious and responsible and the dogs love it. It is plenty big enough for many dogs and everyone cleans up after their pets and are quite social. It is a wonderful testament to dog lovers because it is free and there are so few places in this area for pets. Coming from Virginia, that is a big change and a shame because you see the land where we should be able to walk free, but there are so many rules and restrictions in IL, sometimes it gets frustrating. Love the park. Come join us!
