Dog Park Description

Barkleyville Dog Park consists of four acres at 5505 Feather River Drive (just south of Fourteen Mile Slough). The Park features three areas: a big dog (over 20 lbs.) area; a small dog (20 lbs. and under) area; and a separate play/agility course. Park amenities include benches, dog water fountains and waste bags.

Nice park. Owners need to be reminded to clean up after their pets .. i would like to know who to email or phone about parents not bringing children under 8 to the park.i bring mydog to play with other dogs. Not for children to chase my my dog around. I had to leave today due to 3 small children trying to grab my dog.

Nice park with two areas for small and large dogs. The only concerns are that there are many people who do not comply by the rules, if your dog is over twenty pounds it does not belong in the small dog side, no matter how much of a puppy it is to you. Last week a very rude lady had let her pit bull into the small dog side, I asked her to remove it, she got very defensive saying it’s just a puppy, well that 70 pound dog was no puppy in my book! How she could not read or understand the rules, is beyond me. For the most part, the park is great, just beware of ignorant people.
